Anthony P. Eccher joined Hanford Hotels as Corporate Controller in June 2006.
Mr. Eccher was recruited directly out of college in 1986 by ITT Sheraton Corporation and placed in their controller training program, later progressing through a series of assistant controller and controller positions with ITT Sheraton in New York, Florida, and California. In 1999, Mr. Eccher moved to Noble House Hotels & Resorts as the Regional Controller. In this position he was responsible for five hotels located in California, Washington, Arizona, and New Mexico. In 2001, Mr. Eccher was recruited by Accor Hotels & Resorts and became the Controller for the Sofitel Los Angeles, and in two years time was promoted to the position of Director of Operations and Finance.
Mr. Eccher has a B.S. in Hotel, Restaurant, and Travel Administration from the University of Massachusetts. During 2005 and 2006, Mr. Eccher worked to earn his CPA while he held the position of Controller for the Long Beach Marriott. In early 2008, Mr. Eccher passed the CPA exams and is now a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
