History

Headquartered in the heart of Orange County, California, Hanford Hotels, Inc. and Hanford Hotels, LLC are engaged in a variety of functions and services within the hospitality industry including the acquisition and management of hotel properties, innovative commercial building, and comprehensive third-party consulting.  Our professional management team has over 150 years combined experience in the hospitality industry.    

Over a period of 18 years, our principals Donald E. Sodaro and William A. Caine, Jr. founded and oversaw the development, construction, and operation of a highly successful national chain of hotels.  At the time of its sale to a major national brand, there were 54 locations with over 6,200 rooms operating in excess of 85% occupancy. 

Today, Hanford Hotels manages and operates five hotel properties totaling almost 1,000 rooms in five separate cities.  All leaders in their markets, these properties are distinguished by their respective brands for product quality and guest satisfaction on a national scale.  Deeply grounded in the local communities, Hanford Hotels constantly strives to create awareness and initiate improvements in the environment, education, health, and the arts.
